We need to read and respond to the blogs of others.
Comments are an important part of the blogging community.
So, What Makes A Great Comment?
# TASK 1:
Please watch the video above and answer the following questions:
You will need a pen and notepaper for this task. You can pause the video at any stage to make your notes.
1. Note down the points you find in the video above which can help you when adding a "comment" to someone else's blog article.
2. Are there any other points that you think are important too that are not included? Note these down too.
# TASK 2:
Log Into Your Own Class Blog Page:
1. Click on the Article button in the Editing Panel
2. Make sure you select the Graphical interface.
3. Write an "Article" to record the important points uncovered by you in writing a quality comment. Add any other new points that you think are important.
4. You could also ask the viewers if they have any new ideas too.
5. Give your article a title like "How To Write A Great Comment" Or "Commenting Rules".
# TASK 3:
Return To The Class Blog Page
1. Visit the pages of others in your class. Find an Article that captures your interest
2. If you want another or can't find one to comment on, visit http://www.classblogmeister.com and select an article from those listed on the left of the page.
3. Please add a comment to their article.
Note: We will be looking to see how many of the points mentioned in the video
are developed within the comments you write.
